We built Doc to fix inaccessibility of smart healthcare. To make healthcare simple, fast, and truly reachable just the way it should be.

Every great idea starts with a moment. A situation that makes you pause and ask, “What if things could be different?”
For our Co-Founder/CEO and medical doctor, Ezeagu Princewill, that moment came one ordinary day when he met a friend who had gone to a pharmacy for help with a stubborn toothache. His friend was handed a prescription: 2 tablets each of Procold, Paracetamol, and Panadol Extra to be taken three times daily
At first glance, it might have seemed like routine advice. But Princewill immediately noticed something alarming. Each of those tablets contained 500mg of Paracetamol. Following that prescription meant his friend would be taking 9 Paracetamol tablets a day — a dangerously high dose that could severely damage his liver. He stopped him right away.
But what haunted him was this thought: what if I hadn’t been there? How many people are swallowing harmful drug combinations every day without even knowing? That single moment exposed a painful truth that in Nigeria, millions of people are forced to rely on self-medication, and guesswork because access to professional healthcare feels out of reach. Hospital queues are long, consultations are costly, and in many communities, seeing a licensed doctor quickly is simply not an option. Princewill imagined a better way.
What if people could have instant access to verified, licensed doctors without the stress of waiting rooms or the risks of guessing symptoms? What if an app could make sense of their health concerns, connect them to real professionals, and prevent tragedies born from misinformation? That vision became Doc.
A platform built to make healthcare smart, reliable, and safe so no one has to gamble with their health again. With Doc, dangerous mistakes like his friend’s experience can be avoided. Instead, people can get real answers, real care, and real peace of mind — all from their phone, anytime, anywhere.
